The skills which the oral health professional can use to convey messages and to recognize how they are interpreted are classified as verbal, paralinguistic (voice tone & volume, speed of speech, expressions) and nonverbal (gesture, facial expression, eye contact body language & clothes).

Learning dental instruments names, function and care and maintenance presents as challenge to new students. This course will help the students learn the names of each instrument to equip the students for a better work placement or even to secure one.
